Does anyone have any pictures of the surfaces of planets?
Like Mars, Mercury, Venus?
And maybe a little more out there like Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto?

Venus has an extremely dense atmosphere that makes it impossible to see its surface. However, the Russian Verena 14 lander took this image of Venus’ surface, but it is pretty poor quality.

Jupiter, Saturn, Neptune, and Uranus are gas giants and have no real surface besides their rocky core.
This image is taken by the Hubble Space Telescope and is the clearest image we have of Pluto…

However, the New Horizons Spacecraft will do a flyby mission of Pluto. It will make its closest approach in July of 2015, so we’re going to have to wait a little bit longer to see just what Pluto really looks like.
